Doesn't get much smoother IMO
A lot of people are not familiar with the Steyr's here in Canada. I think they are great guns, but they are pricey.gunrunner100 said:Early Mannlicher Schonauer's or most recently Steyr Mannlicher.

Uh...I love Sauer rifles and like Steyrs as well. However, let's consider price differences. The Tikka can be had for basic Rem700 money. A basic 202 is oh just about 3 times that at bargain pricing.Dustin said:You need to get out more...a T3 is like sandpaper compared to a Steyr or a Sauer 202.
That's not the point. The question asked was "What is the smoothest bolt-action?", not "What is the smoothest bolt-action for the money?". Therefore, the cost of the rifles is a non-issue. For that matter though, I'm pretty sure my CZ550 is smoother than my T3.Winz said:Uh...I love Sauer rifles and like Steyrs as well. However, let's consider price differences.
