Snapshots from Syria: AK wins and fails

Looks like an all around nice place. In this country, we complain if the paper boy is ten minutes late. I carried a sidearm for the better part of 17 years, and have been shooting for over 50, but I have no business taking issue with fingers on triggers in those places. I am ever so thankful I live where I do, and was born when I was, to such good parents.

True that .

On the subject of the Children soldiers, yes a child fighting in a warzone is a shame, however, without knowing more on each one pictured; these are not children stolen from their parents and forced to fight while hopped up on drugs. They are probably young adults who have taken up arms along side their family, friends, neighbors etc.

I know plenty of young people fought the Nazi's back in the day. A friends father served in the Dutch resistance and he was only 9 when he started, killing his first German at age 11. Many Jewish children and young people joined up in arms against their oppressors as well, as well as many others from other nations and faiths. It sucks, but that's the way it turns out.

That looks like one hard assed grade 7 class.

If it was propaganda, they would probably have kept the Brit machinegun out of the pic - probably would have kept the 13 yr old kids out if it as well. Of course, I will accept the possibility that it was a propaganda photo, even though they are not heroically posing.

The photos of young soldiers forced by necessity to fight is great propaganda in its own right. Look at those poor young faces fighting for their very existence. Won't you join the fight and help put an end to this senseless war?

People fighting to overthrow a tyrannical regime (regardless of age) = mother ####ing win!!!

UN = massive fail!!!

I'd say photo shopped as his hands are freakin huge!
I don't understand why you think this photo is so "out there". There is a video on youtube of an Al Queda insurgent using a 10 year old girl to fire an ak around the corner of a building at Government forces. I can't post the link right now, but its easy to find.
