Sniper/Precision Match: What are you using?

Here in the BCRA Sniper/Precision match we shoot the following:

Day #1 is Police/LEO based match.
Ranges from 50m to 200m.

Your LEOs would rarely, if ever take a shot more then 200m away.

We also use several different props to shot from simulating what a LEO "sniper" would encounter. IE, sloping roof top, behind a barricade, under a vehicle, your partner as a rest, etc.

Day #2 is a Military based match.
Ranges from 300m to 600m.
General Vokes Range in Chilliwack B.C. is only 600 meters long.

The Dates for the BCRA match are looking like they will not pan out for me this year. Sorry to say.:( Good news is it gives me a year to get a rifle together for the match and book ahead for next year.:D Looking forward to maybe hooking up with some of you at Mystic's in April though:D . Please excuse me for my humble duck-out:redface: . I was fortunate enough to pre book for Summerland but it looks like I will be working 24 on and 4 days off schedule till end of May or mid June.:puke: But it pays for the toys.:rockOn:

Do I see the need for a new Echo-Can?:cool: Maybe a clamp on style? It will only add about 2 lbs to the end.:p We have a chunk of material left over for this project.

Maynard, I am always in the mood to try something new. We can call it the Echo-Can Deluxe. "For longer barrels":p

Im just saying as it stands right now, I will not be making it so you all can't pressure me by saying I said I would. And looking like a last minute duckout.I am going to try and make it though I have until May to register.

Bring the rifle with you to Jerry's I would love to take a look at it. Who know's me may be sharing it in Chilliwak.

Would you still believe that I have not started to reload yet?? To much time at work, not nearly enough time at play!!

Ya Im running short also, I have 4 days off between now and the shoot so I will use those days to reload. I have do get a bunch done for Danger Deb also. I figure 200rnds of .300WM should do it for the weekend, I will buy some factory .223's and with the .50BMG should be set for the weekend. We should be pulling into Summerland sometime Friday afternoon if all goes as planned. See ya there.
