So..............did you get one?

*tear*

Suppose that the first ones order are at the verrry bottom. Of the stack. Got a call yesterday from Ryan saying he just put mine through... Still no shipping..

This wait is almost as painful as the PAL waiting time..

Same here, seems like they went for the last orders to the firsts...lol 2 friend ordered 2 hours into the sale and have shipping notifications already cou:

My range used to ban steel ammo and SKS's. I am the administrator of a group of SKS in Quebec and we have 1700 members.
We literally raided the place and put pressure on them for years so we could shoot. Now they charge us 5$ more (25$ for an SKS instead of 20$ for non steel ammo)
But at least we can shoot rapid fire and we don't feel ashamed to shoot 300 rounds when we go there.

What range is that? if you don't mind my asking?

Apparently there's going to stainless steel barrels available for these sometime in the future... I hate the fact these are not chrome lined because I would like to shoot corrosive out of it.

There is nothing wrong with shooting corrosive through these at all , just clean after. Also it doesn't start to corrode seconds after your done shooting lol. Clean properly when you get home , no biggie.

Yea I believe it was wholesale sports that made the announcement. With respect to shooting corrosive I think that's what your sks rifles are better suited for. The 858s are too expensive and rare for me to risk forgetting to clean the thing after

Go watch the video where someone ran 2200 rounds of corrosive ammo through an SKS and left it for a month. Sure it was COATED in surface rust, but it came clean with a bit of elbow grease. Corrosive ammo isn't the instant destruction of a rifle.
