So...does your rifle have a name?

A MkIV Lee Enfield named "Pinchy".

A buddy of mine unknowingly had the edge of his pectoral muscle between the bottom, pointy end of the steel butt plate and the concrete shooting table as he leaned against it. Then he pulled the trigger and a nickname was born....
 
To quote Homer Simpson: " Mr. Blasty " comes to mind, but me and my buddies constantly refer to our 12 gauges as the "old firestick".

Xcr's name is excelsior
Norc M14s- dinner for 1(b) aka general tso
Remington 597 Yellowjacket - magnus, wielder of lightening
Savage .17 BTVS - Vlad the impaler

and just for future reference I don't refer to them by their full names at all times, only once and a while

I was thinking of a ###y russian name for my Baikal. Do you remember the episode of the WKRP when the Russian said to Bailey " Hold me closer tiny dancer" Ekaterina.. Oh wait a minute maybe I should grow up. The hell with it my tiny dancer is Ekaterina.

i have a .303 #4 mk1 lee enfield is my baby i refinished the barrel taking my time to make sure it was just right (10 coats) and refinished the stocks with loving care and put 5 coats of tung oil rubbing it in real good....lmao so i gotta say my baby

The only pet names i have are "grandpas gun" for my savage model 24. Other than that, they get called by exactly what they are, "the BLR" or "the nylon". Once in a while, one of the semis's gets called "you filthy whore" due to a jam or stovepipe, but it's really an ammo problem, so maybe it's the crappy underloaded .22 round that's a whore :)
 
So for some reason I just name my restricted weapons
308 mws is the Annilator
223 LMT 10.5" is the violator
2 Sig 1911 blackwaters I refer to as the big twins
2 sig 226 blackwaters I refer to as lil twins
Sig 229 SAS is 25 to life
The others are just the savages, the MDT, and the AICS, ect.....

Got two more to name when my Tac ops show up
 
when i was in CF my C7 had a name SUZI...for slap me and call me suzi. Slept with the damn thing a lot always on me when issued unless told to put it down...
Guns at home do not have a name except the Norc 14" shotgun is "the #####" from training day..
