Call me crazy (some of my friends do) but I've somehow managed to acquire no less then 17 pistols since I received my restricted license last August. So my questions are: How many pistols do you have and how long have you been doing it for? Do you buy and sell or just buy? Just curious and just for fun. I can't seem bring myself to sell any of them and now I need another safe! :rockOn:
 
As I went bonzo-loco with longarms when I got my PAL, I have more rifles than pistols.
Been doing the pistol thing for about 1 1/2 years and just got my 11th.

Buy and sell......sell?? What the hell's that :confused: ? I understand the buy part, but what is this sell thing you speak of? :p :D

17? You've been busy. Just what all did you aquire? I can see 17 being an easy task if all you're buying is older .22's... but I have a feeling there's more to it than just that.

And why the hell would you want to willingly sell your guns? :confused: Unless of course you've got a Lorcin/Hi-point/Anything made by Speshul Wepunz.
 
Four at the moment, down from fourteen or so. I've been a competitive pistol shooter since 2000. It took me a few years to get over the newgunitis, I still get occasional outbreaks but so far I've mannaged to resist buying anything new for the last two years. I still want to though.....
 
I've had my RPAL for about 1 year, and currently have 6 handguns in the locker, but...
1 is SPT, 1 is on its way here (PT) and 1 is in the E.E. forum :( .
I have found my passion far exceeds my budget, as I already have my eyes on a couple of others. :runaway:
I have managed to buy and sell a few long guns in the past year as well.
(I think maybe I have issues :redface: )
 
IMO it's not so smart to advertize how many handguns you own. Perhaps you should post your address as well?
 
I've got 4 since February. I'm really pissed off that I can't get a Prohibited licence, I'd like to buy a few more guns that fall under that category. I never did see the point of the "Prohibited" anyway, makes no sense to me...probably not alone!!
 
Wow, 17 pistols since last August? Thats outstanding! I have seen many other members on CGN acquire at that rate though. So don't worry, its normal. When you consider all the different calibers, types and makes of pistols - all of which are easily coveted, 17 isn't really that many. Especially in the honeymoon phase. However, an anti who has little knowledge of handguns would be absolutely horrified that you even have 1. So consider your collection a big "IN YOUR FACE", to all the anti's out there. :D
 
I currently only own 3 handguns. I have been buying a lot of non-restricted stuff lately though. Bought 4 in the last couple months. I really need to start picking up the pace with the handguns. Looking to get a Glock 17 to go with my Glock 22. But like most, my want exceeds my means.

Wait until you start to collect one particular kind of firearm and have 17 variations of the same thing...lol... then you are a true 'gun guy'...lol...

All very cool posts~ Yes I have started to collect some old Colt 1911's and now have about 4 of them that are almost the same. Still looking for a Remington Rand so if you guys hear of one...... Speaking of 1911's, I think I must have 7 of them. 4 Colts, 1 Ithaca, 1 Para and 1 Kimber.
 
The thing with hand guns is you need one for each hand, and they ballance better if they are the same model.:D

WOW....I only have 2 so far...Norinco NP-34 9mm and a S&W M&P40...I NEED to catch up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(I foresee my wallet taking a real beating this year)
