I was really impressed. I don't know, I thought it looked and felt really nice (the laminate and synthetic versions). Not sure what everyone is saying about it cycling so rough, felt real smooth and robust to me, and cycled very solid.... and the finish and machining looked nice to my eyes...
Why do these guns get so much flack? The way some people talk about expresses i was expecting a piece of ####, ugly, rough cycling, club. Are they really that unreliable/poory made in comparison to the wingmaster/old expresses/wingmasters?? Or are people just being snob/elitists?
I absolutely loved the synthetic version... but with everyone saying it's nothing compared to the old wingmasters, and that you should skip the express it makes me uneasy about getting one.... even though I don't particularly want a blued, wood wingmaster with a fixed choke, and lacking one of those rails ontop of the barrel (are those important?).....
Stupid question.... but it's gets to the point..... how many of you in the infamous "zombie" scenario, would trust your life to a remington express?
God I just want to buy a SG already!!!!
