Please explain why you think a 260 is "more versatile"? I also shoot with one and I achieve great results, but on the balance, I am not seeing the versatility thing.
O-k I am not the best at explaining things but I will try. 260Rem will utilize whole action lenght, it is big game caliber also, 6mmBr isn't. If 260Rem is kept trim within the reason like 12lbs or so then can be used as a beanfield hunting rifle, varminter, LR target and plinker. 22 PPc, 6 PPC, 6mmBr are specialized target and varmint rifles only so 260 Rem is more versatile IMO.
