So I couldnt resist any longer and placed an order, but havent told the wife yet ;)...

Normally I have to sell/trade a toy before Im in the clear to get another but with the sales going on I caved in..

Getting a Sarsilmaz B6C, 9mm. Yes, once I get it I'll give my take on it and such if desired.

Hopefully me having the only mail key in be enough as they dont seem to deliver to the door here:)
But still have to get it inside the house though..

What tricks have you nutters used before?

My purchases are from my own funds so go financially unnoticed. However if my wife questions a purchase of mine i just pull up our credit card bill and ask her where she'd like me to begin
 
Life runs so much smoother if she doesn't find out..Women don't forget anything! And I'm sure your purchase will be brought up in some future argument. Do u have a diff car than her? Maybe keep it in the trunk until she goes out?
 
Hmmmm, if a marriage is that restrictive, then I would say that is the problem, and not the gun purchase as a Sarsilmaz B6C should not put a dent in anyones budget.

But to help your case, instead of playing "ninja" just tell her: hey I bought a new pistol and I'm currently in the process of selling one of my firearms. Then maybe the buyer backed out because his wife found put he was shopping on CGN EE... But you still got the pistol and will make an effort to sell one real fast...

On a side note: ninjas don't hide in order to avoid the wife...

The best advice I can offer is to get fit if you aren't, maybe some cardio/roadwork and focus mostly on improving your bobbing and weaving coupled with a lot of rope a dope just in case(and she will) she gets you on the ropes.

If all else fails, the cardio/roadwork will either ensure you can out run her or at least out distance her when she breaks bad on ya.

I'd also become a super light sleeper and refrain from shampooing your hair in the shower(it's hard to defend oneself with soap in your eyes or utilize that cardio/roadwork/running)

And remember, we're all in this together.........

Fricking hilarious!!! Thanks for making my day.

I have used the "Can I get this one if I sell that one?.... but now is not a good time to attempt selling, have to wait for the hunting season" ploy with success a few of times. Ended up selling something in the end.

My wife is really good about my extravagances as long as I discuss it with her first. Has never denied a purchase.

Makes me cringe reading all these posts about grown men having to ask their wives permission before making a purchase. You're a presumably hard working male, you should have access to your own funds.
 
My partner read this, and commented that the OP is undermining his marriage.

A lack of honesty sends a signal that nothing he does can be trusted, and further opens the door to her doing the same juvenile trust-destroying behaviour.

OP needs to grow up.
