Delightful to see so many older, long action chamberings in this thread. At first I chose to ignore it as I figured it'd be awash with 10lbs (after slobber installation) juvenile chamberings. What material is that stock made of? I'd be willing to forego laminate wood if the synthetic stock didn't immediately suck the heat from my hands... the accuracy is superb. 6lbs 5ounces... like carrying an extra shirt.

Husqvarna 1600 in .30/06. Seven pounds, 10 oz. loaded with sling. That was a very lightweight rifle in it's day.

You are correct. A short action stainless lefty Model 70 almost doesn’t exist.

Interestingly enough it’s a one off from the custom shop. But it is a 3X, yes.
