If the club/range rules don't prohibit using live critters as targets and you can entice the critters to enter the target area and the relevant hunting regulations in your province don't forbid it for whatever reason at that time and place, in theory, you could hunt with your R25. But it's not what many people call hunting. Hope you can get away to the U.S. soon to enjoy yours more fully.
The military does not use it. We are talking about a hunting rifle here. This gun is a variant o an AR 15, it is restricted, it is not because the military uses it.military uses it = there for u cant. its thats simple
is the AR10/R25 platform prohibited by name, or mearly as a varient of the AR15?
If its a varient, I wonder if the henderson case could change the R25 classification?
I am new to shooting and was shocked to find out I could not fire any restriced firearms on a farm or back fields only at a gun club or approved range.
Any official document about the requirements for a range? eg Berm thickness or min height etc...
Thanks for all the insight
Really. I'd like to see that in a regulation or OIC. No? Then there must be something else going on.military uses it = there for u cant. its thats simple

correct me if i'm wrong, but I believe it was the conservatives under Bullruney that wrote c-68, after the marc lapine affair up in montreal. The fiberals under Jean the liar had the power to stop the bill, but impleminted it anyway. Had to seem like they were doing something to put the breaks on all us assassin wannabees.
