So what's left for 308 semi autos in Canada?

I think it’s time for someone to make brand new M1 308’s
Norinco? I think a US or Canadian company could do this for a reasonable price.
I know we don’t want to give them ideas but I think we will always prevail into finding loopholes as we are much smarter then they are because they know nothing about firearms or firearms law. Truth is we know more about gun laws then most law enforcement or even the ones making the laws. It’s terribly obvious when you see the OIC. Buffoons
 
better yet, have a canadian company make an m1 receiver and parts kit that you can buy and swap all of your m305 parts over to; stock, mags, barrel, gas system, bolt? it's the receiver that makes the gun, yes? no longer an m1a, it's an m1 - preceeds the m1a. 10,000 guaranteed customers. all those canadian companies that had been making ar15 deviants can get back to work.

knowing nothing about the m1 i presume it isn't that easy, however. for someone who want's to try, there's a $50 m1 receiver for sale on townpost currently.

Yep, they could've just banned all semis in one swoop. Libs are just saving the rest for next elections.
 
If we can't talk about our hobby and enjoy the conversation with other enthusiasts they have won. I'm going to talk about the guns I'm interested in. That's what this forum is for. If you guys don't like it, quit and take up another hobby since you've lost already.
 
The Government has assistance from the two soccer moms who build the list to hand over their suggested guns to ban.

The list is getting bigger and bigger if you write down more items.

They did say they would ban whatever rifle becomes popular after prior rifles become banned
 
A FNAR Competition might be a wee heavy for 3G but if you can manage the weight, you will do good, this rifle is above average accurate...
