SO who ordered a Dominion Arms 870 Grizzly

I'm on day 9 since I ordered....but it feels like it's been weeks lol. I've got buckets of parts here and no grizzly to bolt 'em to :runaway:

After purchase you'll get an email with a confirmation number and it does say up to three weeks for delivery. I talked to Chris today and by the sounds of things they are swamped with orders and about a week behind in emails. You'll get notification asap - they're great to deal with.

Then again a nice tritium front sight would do the trick :wave:

I did get this today however.. I'm awaiting my Hogue stock set, which is en route.

Hoo-Rah. After some slip-ups, my first one got here, today (Ordered Dec 28). My other one was shipped, Yesterday... little bro's birthday present.

I'm pretty impressed with this thing, actually, it kicks the ass of the Mav 88 I used as a partial trade on my Supernova. Seems heavt. Sturdy. I'm pretty keen to push some shells thru this thing, this weekend.
 
I got some news for you guys. I ordered on Jan. 2 and finally got a request for payment through (FRAUD ALERT) last night for it. If you guys ordered online as i did you can expect to get an email from (FRAUD ALERT) too . The credit card debacle has delayed things and the shot show as well , but i made a payment so i hope to give it a week but be patient these things have had some setbacks . Not to mention that they are selling like hotcakes.
 
Had mine out to the range today :dancingbanana:

Initially could only load 3 into the chamber but that was quickly rectified. The magazine spring and follower were not all the way to the end of the action. Easy fix. 5 rounds downrange as fast as you can pull it.

Put 50 rounds of shot, 20 slugs and 15 buckshot threw it without a problem.


I did find that with slugs it does shoot a tad 3" to the right at 25M. I also found out that when shooting 3" slugs that it's best to have your trigger hand thumb pointed downrange and not curled around the grip or it will poke you in the nose :redface:

Recoil was alright, no problems. Just remember to get that thumb out of the way. Well......you'll see :D Loading form the side saddle is a ##### when your practicing quick reloads. Practice makes perfect though.


The finish though did take a beating and now my shotty looks like it was riding around in box of a pickup truck for a few days. No steel showing but the finish is marred up. Nothing a pretty little paint job will fix.


All in all, this is going to make a super-duper reliable camping/hiking shotty :) Already have the 4 shot sidde saddle, time for a new front sight and maybe a paint job I'm good to go. Didn't get a chance to try it will the pistol grip as mine didn't arrive with one. It is on route though.
 
got mine yesterday! shooting it on wed

oddly i got the notification of shipping email on a friday and the gun on a saturday. im not complaining though, my first official gun and i spent all night playing with it.
