So whos buying a CZ Bren 2 MS ? Its non res !

File this under things I would not post a video of myself doing. These days it is safe to say LAR15 mags will, at best, get confiscated or at worst, force you to #### around with RCMP and waste time defend yourself in court.

Nothing but bad experiences with these guys. Rude, hilariously bad pricing, totally willing to sell you used items as new, incomplete kits, etc. For the prices they want, service is laughably bad.

You're fun at parties huh?

Do we have any actual piks of these rifles? I'm getting the impression that the handguards, etc depend on the length of barrel...I'm trying to decide on 16 vs 18.
Unless I've missed an actual picture of it.

So how many people are still going to buy this?

Already got my Transfer Notification on a 14" in military configuration (hopefully with bayonet lug) from IRG. Those who order from IRG within the next 3 days will have them in-hand by end-month. I can't wait to hit the range with mine!

Huh well don't know what the deal is with that then. I order my motorcycle gear out of Alberta most of the time, and it's always 5%. I went back and checked some of my Tenda orders and an order I did with Maple Ridge armory, I only got charged the GST on those orders as well. I also ordered my Benelli M4 from Firearms Outlet, only got the 5% GST charged.

There was a change recently (like a couple of years before) where BC NDP went all out to make all retailers to pay sales taxes. Including US based STEAM and NETFLIX.

I look forward to the review

Well, this CZ Bren 2 Bayonet arrived today....

It is a very well-made and substantial bayonet/fighting knife. It comes complete with a replacement (plain) Pommel and (non-bayonet) Guard for those who prefer it as a straight-up Fighting Knife. Pretty cool! Now, I hope that my 14" carbine comes with a bayonet lug....

Hate to break it to ya but I don't think our versions do. Every vid I have seen on it now shows they do not but again.....

Now the other question is, where you source that bayo from??

I have seen recent pics labeled MS2 that show bayonet lugs, so I think that the jury is still out. As best I can determine, for some reason the 7.62x39mm guns lack the Bayp Lug, but the 5.56mm carbines still have it. Such devices are usually omitted for the sake of removing " Evil" military features from a "Modern Sporting" variant. As if you can conceal the Bren's military heritage by removing the Bayonet Lug and installing a longer Handguard - silly marketers and designers....

Anyhow, as I understand it many Bayonet lugs have been removed from US-owned 14" Rifles in order to install the longer commercial MLOC handguards. Now to find a source for all of those take-off Bayonet Lugs....

My particular Bren 2 bayonet came from CZ Parts in the Czech Republic. euro-military dot com also stock the bayonet. Nobody stocks the lugs and roll-pin as yet....

This is what I've noticed aswell.

All x39 14" rifles seem to not have the bayo lug (anymore). Still see some 223 14" with it. Let's hope they do.

Awesome, no issues ordering direct from CZ Parts?

They won’t be here by May18th so I won’t be purchasing one.

Not entirely true...... yet. The IRG import could still happen by the 17th, not that it matters as they are all restricted. I reckon that even if they are banned in due course, I will have had a chance to shoot the piss out of it and evaluate the design. And then I get to (presumably) sell my well-used carbine to an insistent Lieberal governnent if the Conservatives gave not prevailed by then. Not my preferred outcome, but still better than nothing at all....
