What were you expecting they would cost? The pistol sells for $600.00 in the U.S. plus the custom barrel to make it "legal" here plus the import fees etc. Beretta sells the original size barell on their web site for $195.00 did you think a custom made barrel would be cheaper?
Considering that you will probably not find one anywhere else in Canada it's a pretty good deal if you want one.

I for one wasn't commenting on the price, just the fact that they are actually available. That was the gun I wanted when I was getting my rpal. I've bought so many guns since then I think it got lost in the shuffle...:)

Questar, can you put up a pic of the gun with the extended barrel?

they sell for more like $500 in the US so basiaclly it costs double here, but yes I understand the longer barrel costs money +they need to make a profit...

I guess if I REALY wanted one I'd buy it, but for ~$1150 total I'd rather spend the $ on something that costs closer to $1000 in US ;) Plus I don't need another 9mm and not interested in .40...

But I would love to see pics of the gun with the longer barrel and I'm more than sure it's a great gun (it's a Beretta duh)

92FS sells for the same money as the PX4 down south. You can get one for under $500 brand new.

I'm guessing that with the short barrel, these cannot be imported, hence the custom barrel. The problem with that is this would be purchased pretty much sight unseen. No other store would have them.

I think Questar should have a *Come try out the new PX4 Day* at the Barrie Gun Club. :)

Raise you hand.

PX4 Storm Pics...

Took one out to the range today... really nice little gun. The "F" model has a really nice DA/SA trigger... the National Match 106mm barrels are awesome... shooting ragged hole 3 and 4 shot groups at 7 to 10 yards. Rapid fire double and triple taps were still within 3 to 4 inches without really trying.

Tried several types of ammo including 9mm NATO, Winchester 147grain white box and even some nice hollow points... not a single malfunction... no feeding failures... it gobbled up everything we gave it and the accuracy was excellent... match grade!

We did not try any "reloads" as these are match grade barrels and they will have issues with anything that has not been resized back to true factory specs.

We were very impressed with the gun and the barrel... simply fantastic.

The barrel is sticking out a bit further than I thought since it only needs 4mm more to be Canadian legal. Are the guns made in Italy?

Does Questar carry any extra mags?

There barrel does protrude what looks like 2mm from the barrel originally (stock)
The stock barrel is 100mm. The match barrel is 106mm.

Since it already protrudes 2mm, add the 6mm difference. That would be 8mm.
