To really fit in you should bring an STW, but the RUM would be OK if you sign a waiver stating that you've been advised about the STW.
lmao

Hey you guys aren't doing very well at keeping SoMA current.................WTF..........
And by the way I just heard today that I got my Sask WT draw..............I'm going deer hunting in Nov...Hey do you guys think a 223 is big enough for a Sask whitetail ? OR Hey do you guys think a 300 Wby is overkill for Sask whitetail ? Decisions, decisions decisions............what rifle and caliber do I take............anything but a 270.......
......... I know, I have a new to me 700 Classic, 7mm Wby, should be just the ticket. Wait, I haven't killed anything with my 7 RUM either, or my 7-08, or my 6.5X55, or my 7X64, or............well you get the picture...........
Does he have to learn how to speak with a Texan drawl in order to use either of those chamberings?
The 223 isn't legal, but if you'd get off your hump and get a 234 Whatchamacallit up and running you'd be invincible in Saskatchewan! What zone will you be hunting in? My folks live in the middle of 21/22. But if you can't get the 234 ready then take the 7Wby. Very nicely balanced for that kind of hunting while still being exotic enough so as to not preclude membership in SOMA.
It's always hard to tell with a SOMA member if they're being facetious or if they're simply a madman.
Probably both.
The membership and promising candidates have long realized that they are not entirely what most would consider "normal."
Angus' trader rating is testament to that..... lol..... yikes
And that's just scratching the surface.
That sounds like a proper shooting trip- like an upland wing shoot, just a lot bigger! Look forward to hearing your findings on big vs smaller. The first SOMA scientific expedition.
I've done the medium versus bigger, and am now working heavy versus standard, and fragmentary by design versus high weight retention, and monos driven past the norm. SOMA members will of course be presented with the results for peer review.

Well I would certainly hope so, otherwise what good is it having a group of peers?
Exactly. I'm sitting in Sydney airport right now waiting on the final flight. That last leg was 15 hours in the air.
