Software tools for reloading

Curious what software tools others are using to help with reloading and group analysis? I recently started using Gordons Reloading Tool and it seems excellent. Anyone have experience with GRT or know how it stacks up againt Quickload?

I recently switched powder from Bullseye to Titegroup in 38 spl and 357 Mag

and compared QuickLoad to GRT and found the results very close.

That's not say that will be true for all powders/cartridges.

Just in my limited sample. I also check GRT against reloading book entries

when I bored and want something to do. GRT results seem reasonable.

But I always use the reloading book entries and work up.

Oh yeah, I always start with published data. I'm interested in the optimum barrel time feature of GRT. Seems slick if it works. Hopefully I get to try out a couple loads this weekend.

GRT works on my computer. I'm currently looking for an app that will open it on Android, just because. No luck so far. - dan

Ever tried GRT to see how they compare? GRT is free, and seems really good with lots of features, but if there is a compelling reason to justify the price of QL I would consider it.
How do you primarily use QL? General load dev or are you wildcatting?

Haven't used GRT. I use QL for standard and wildcat cartridges, generally use QL to tune my loads for optimal barrel time with very good results

I've been using QL for about 10 years. I tried GRT and it was good most of the time but occasionally way off. I don't have it any more.

I have been using GRT for 6 or 7 years and have had good results with it. I use it for data where none exists for 10mm, 28 nosler and 300 win mag. Use it with respect and it gives good starting points after that it is your responsibility to work up your loads safely.

Thanks for the input everyone. I'm definitely becoming a believer in OBT, which GRT can calculate. Even if not used for anything else it seems like that feature will save a guy a lot of components.
