If the little piece of plastic on the folder has different colour, I totally understand and can accept that. But I can’t never believe a gun like this can be approved to leave the factory.
 
Also I can see some marks on the gun, showing that the factory worker was trying to put parts works and to fit with the gun. Probably I am receiving a lemon �� gun.
 
-Buy a $1000 Chinese communist rifle known for its reliability.
-Top handguard pigment is 15% different than the bottom handguard, less than the color difference between upper and lower recievers on some $5000 HK rifles.
-must be a lemon.

Sorry, makes me laugh. The fact TI got these in and for such a reasonable price is mind boggling, i cant even fathom the thought process of people who are complaining over these very slight cosmetic/aesthetic "issues". But hey, they've already said theyd give you your money back if you arent happy so.

No, I have seen my share of Norinco workmanship over the years. It is what it is. But I agree. I am always thinking - would one or 2 hours of Chinese labour cost that much more to make them look nice with a nice finish and everything? I guess we will never find out.


Compare it to a standard condition Russian SKS and you will start crying, lol.

Send it back to them get a refund, or keep it and stop lamenting over the shade of the wood (i think its alreadybeen addressed about 400 times). Also a lemon is something that doesnt work, on the off chance you ever actually shoot the gun you can indeed let us know if its a lemon, but you shouldn't be implying the gun doesnt function if you havnt tried it...

Okay, thank you. I am going to request TI to replace a gun without any mistakes rather than refund.
 
I want to mention that I'm not the only one here to address this issue. If this is not a problem, then no one will complain. In addition, as more and more people receive the goods, I believe more people will point out this problem. If you don't like people pointing out or complaining this problem, I suggest you don't browse.
