No WTB, just said if anyone bought a few and they want to get rid of one… can’t say that I guess. A simple pm to let me know would have been nice, but whatever; just a Mod doing his job keeping us safe…

if i were you i would ask the mod to reconsider.

If I had to guess, that Mod's user starts with an R. I have found him to be quite overzealous in the past, having been infracted by him over petty s***. In my experience the mods won't even answer a polite message regarding an infraction, and the only way to get any traction is to go above them to the admin who will automatically side with the mod without even taking a serious look at the interaction.

I finally got a couple of the infractions overturned after way more effort than should have been required. The mod team is the primary reason I don't really post anything of substance here anymore, and I know I'm not the only one.

Yep

Mine is definitely brown. Also, if anyone who's owned one of these before can chime in, the top half of my handgaurd has about 1/16 up and down play. I would assume it's supposed to be solid but I don't know how's these fit and finish. Still happier than a pig in mud!

The up and down play is normal. The more u stare at ur rifle, the more imperfections ull notice lol. They are a mass produced military rifle, always keep this in mind.

The folding stock plate is more of a redish brown and is not a perfect match, as they are different materials. Depending on the lighting conditions they can appear closer or farther apart. If anyone is not happy with them not matching perfectly we can cancel the order or if shipped accept back for refund, we will waive re-stocking fee as long as the rifle is new condition.

Any approximate timeline for shipping? Especially ones near the end?

LOL, good answer Nick.

.

dont do it i say, it would be silly to cancel over shade of red/brown, much better to sell on EE just before xmas, lol.

Ok I don't get this and please do educate me if I am confused, why is insurance the responsibility of anyone except the shipper? If I don't get a product I paid for I ask for my money back regardless of any insurance. Even if you pay for insurance its really not yours, the shipper has to make the claim, so your really just mitigating risk for the shipper not yourself. I appreciate this is dicey with private deals but its odd practice for commercial transactions that involve third party payment systems. Also are you really buying insurance from Canadapost during the checkout or is it just a donation to the merchant's "self insurance" potential loss kitty. Its not like you get a detailed receipt from Canadapost., well I guess you can't because the insurance would still not be yours.

Umm what?

Carrier insurance is optional and has nothing to do with the seller... after the vendor ships an item (or any private sale for that matter) the liability lies with the carrier... insurance is offered to the customer by the vendor or private seller on behalf of the carrier, once declined the liability transfers to the customer having declined to protect their purchase from loss. That standard in all contracts between customers and carriers. BTW the customer is YOU.

some are not as picky when byuing a 1000$ sks and you re so right they re build to shoot not to look in a glassed bar cabinet... and they work what else to ask ...

If you look at the bumper of your car, chances are that it will be a slightly different colour than the fender/hood. Because your bumper is plastic whereas the fender and the hood are metals.

The darker the colour, the less noticeable the difference will be.

Technically you can make both materials match if you adjust for the temperature/humidity and other environmental factors, but most vehicle manufacturers won’t bother (and even if they do, it won’t last very long with time/sunlight and a million other factors) and obviously neither will Poly for a $1000 dollar rifle, good luck with that.
