TI indicated the SE Rifle production run has been split into multiple shipments, so it should be the second shipment of SE Rifles on its way or arrived in Alberta, to be released for sale in January.

Folder and fixed have been coming in and out of stock for years now, your not going to miss out lol. Out of all the super duper limited get yours now before David copperfield make them disappear forever was the BRS 99.

Fixed is more comfortable just less utility
If you do t plan to pack it in the woods, you are better off with the fixed
Also easier to mod aftermarket stocks to fit the fixed (Zhukov etc)

values changes with time. its been dropping as we approach the first week of january (releasing of second allotment).

Pretty much this.

At the used market price point people have set, they forget you're now in range of the cost of a number of better rifles. I'd rather buy a M10X even with some of the warranty requirement, just because it has modern ergonomics and mounts.

The type-81 is not inherently a good firearm, it's ONLY OK because it's cheaper. Take that away and you're just paying more for less.

I also love how in the past weeks since they announced a new batch coming, the EE has basically been flooded with guys trying hop on the price gouge train before the price tanks.
