Sold OUT: TYPE 81 LMG

Finally. I've picked up mine today. It was pretty oily but nothing even close compared to a Yugo SKS covered in cosmoline. So it took me about an hour to remove excess oil. Aand.. it is indeed beautiful. I really like phosphate finish, so I'm happy with the choice. And it is not going to EE, lol. A toolkit is something worth mentioning - it has both windage wrench and elevation front post adjustment tools, a thingy to switch gas port settings if you don't have a cartridge handy, a couple of spare pins and cleaning rod attachments. Also, I tried to shoulder it and I don't really see a problem with that latch. You just need to make sure that you don't press it into the shoulder pocket, the middle of the buttstock plate should be there instead. So looking forward to the weekend range trip.
 
First range day. Definitely fun rifles, quality on LMG is very good. Impressed with how beautiful the wood is on these LMG’s.



 
I am getting a little concerned. I didn't expect to be waiting a month for it to arrive for something "in stock". If it's not here before I leave for three weeks straight then I'll have to see if Canada Post will hold onto it for that long until I get back.

Same. I get that they sold more than they thought in a very short time and have lots of orders to fulfill but at this rate it's going to be a month for them to ship pretty expensive, in stock items to me. And well over a month before I receive them from one province over. That's not acceptable customer service in my book. I paid immediately by cc and all my PAL info was included as requested so there was nothing to hold it up.

got a drum magazine today....but no rifle....CP tracking says its in mississauga still.
disapointed, but no surprise with canada post....maybe tuesday i'll get it
 
I don’t mind as much. I know that will cheese a few guys off but at least the delay in shipping means I will have paid it off my credit card and when it finally shows up my wife can’t complain that we can’t afford it.
