I have not handled the OR version personally but have stripped a regular one. I see no issue with drilling out the side and mounting an AK side plate myself, which would be compatible with basically everything on the market in the US. I would consider doing the same with the CSA side mount for the VZ58 but those are out of stock everywhere for at least a yeah.

All that said I understand peoples hesitation with drilling holes in their rifle. Not me though. I'd drill it, tap it and paint it.

Guns that are just by themselves go out first I.e rifle and ehats included. If you ordered extra mags , kit or a drum it takes longer as they have to package everything separately then ship it all out. It's always been this way with TI
