This is of a rusty 150 year old Swiss Vetterli whose bore appears decent to the eye - it has shine and I can see some deep pics about halfway down, although patches still come out with rust. In fact the bore is worse than Poor. Also shown is a bore pic of a Carcano whose bore to the eye has strong rifling, but is slightly dark, and looks no better than the Vetterli's to the eye, but is in fact much better.
The diameter of this Endoscope is 6mm, but larger ones are available and might show better quality, but won't fit all bores. The quality is poor - $10 poor, but shows just how awful the bore actually is. These are low res, but quality could be improved with a separate light source at the other end of the bore. Most seem to have their own adjustable light source, some have a button to take pics, and some can be used with both USB and Micro-USB. I use the application "ViewPlayCap" with the Endoscope. I tossed the "Made in China by their CIA" software that came with it.
