This is of a rusty 150 year old Swiss Vetterli whose bore appears decent to the eye - it has shine and I can see some deep pics about halfway down, although patches still come out with rust. In fact the bore is worse than Poor. Also shown is a bore pic of a Carcano whose bore to the eye has strong rifling, but is slightly dark, and looks no better than the Vetterli's to the eye, but is in fact much better.

The diameter of this Endoscope is 6mm, but larger ones are available and might show better quality, but won't fit all bores. The quality is poor - $10 poor, but shows just how awful the bore actually is. These are low res, but quality could be improved with a separate light source at the other end of the bore. Most seem to have their own adjustable light source, some have a button to take pics, and some can be used with both USB and Micro-USB. I use the application "ViewPlayCap" with the Endoscope. I tossed the "Made in China by their CIA" software that came with it.

works better than the one I bought..... wouldn't work on my android, only on my pc. stuck it in a drawer somewhere with other useless crap....

If it didn't work with Android, it's not the Endoscope, but the application you're using. "EasyCap Viewer" should work.

...this is great! how long did the shipping take?

1. gotta link? (pm me if you think it's better)

2. my wife wants to know if it will work to shove it up my a$$ since i complain about my hemorrhoids too much? ;)

Thanks for posting.
Was looking at these on ebay recently but have not pulled the trigger on it yet.

Too bad it won't fit in a .22 cal bore..

There are ones on aliexpress that are 5.5mm. Would that fit in a 22 bore? Looks like bullet diameter is 5.7mm in a 22.

It’s bore diameter that matters, not bullet. Most .22s will be .216/220 bore/groove. 5.5mm is .217”, so it would fit in a .224 barrel, but maybe not a .22LR barrel.

I've found mine to be fairly decent. This is a picture I took to show some lead build up in my 45-70 barrel. Mine has tiny lights in the end that you adjust the brightness with the dial on the cord. You can also do video. Mine also cost $10

Looking good!

Bought one off fleaBay last year for $10 as well. Works good for the price. Depth of field is pretty shallow, but if you go slowly it does show up some crap like copper fouling. I haven't tried an alternate lighting source yet to see if it helps, but that might be a good idea.
I wish I had the smaller diameter unit for the smaller bore rifles.

I have fought off the desires to check various body orifices with this camera in fear of what I might come across.
