Some time back my SIL presented me with a JC Higgins (Husqvarna HVA) in 30/06. The gun belonged to his late father so it was special to Jeff, so he wanted to use it as well. The gun had several cracks around the top and bottom behind the mag well and some on the forend as well and needed some att'n before further use. I had the gun sent to a fellow in Ontario who was highly recommended for such repair and had it bedded as well. In the mean time I located a M8 4x Leupold and some Weaver style rings.
Finally got it all together. The repairs were perfect and the scope worked well on the action.
Here is the first and only group I shot with it to sight in using Imperial RN ammo a couple days ago. I am assuming they are 180s.
