An accoutrement, Mecar Energa anti tank grenade launcher, Belgian made circa Korean war. It's fitted on a 1942 Savage No4 Mk1 (no star) 5C7224 that was FTR'd in 1949 at Fazarkerley. The grenade is a WWII era US M11A3 training grenade. Not correct for the Energa but it fits. View attachment 1002938View attachment 1002939View attachment 1002940View attachment 1002941

Good Day,
The ENERGA rifle grenade spigot design was adapted for use with the No4, M1 Garand and Carbine, FN-49, and Mauser 98 rifles. In parallel, the ENERGA 50mm anti-tank grenades variants were licensed to various NATO and non aligned countries in the 50s-70s.
UK produced inert examples included the No94 solid head and L1A1 chalk filled training designs.
