Source for Kimber rifles?

I like everything about the kimbers, I just wish their performance wasn't such a crap shoot. They are a sweet rifle when they perform like they are supposed to and a bargain for the price. When you get a bad one the price is way too much.
Here here ....... Well said!

AAAahh, Kimber. The only make I know that when you get a 'factory-reject' you didn't get a 'LH' model...............:D
Right on!

I think we all deserve a new gun every now and then. I just noticed Ruger is offering their rifle in the .257 again. That might tempt a few folks.

While I don't have any experience with the 257 Roberts I recall reading back in the day that one of the downfalls of the Roberts was it being chambered in short actions that wouldn't allow decent seating of heavier bullets and that the twist rate was commonly 1 in 12 which didn't stabilize heavier bullets. The new M77 seems to be built on a long action as they are quoting the same OAL as 270, 30-06 etc. with 1 in 10 barrels. Just throwing it out there. Being a M77 fan, I think I'm putting one on the gotta have list. I'd like to see how the Kimber performs though as they give me a bad case of the drools.

Cheers
