Since the tikka rings sit on the top of the receiver, it is very simple to turn a set of lows into extra low.

In theory...But doing it to high tolerance to keep the scope parallel to the barrel is not trivial.
Also, are you guys lapping your talleys? I have a precision shaft in 1" and 30mm that I use instead of lapping. I loctite the rear base making sure the bases seem centred on the screws, after the loctite dries, I clamp the shaft on the rear ring and start both screws in the front ring. Then I clamp the shaft into both rings so I can access 1 screw on the front ring. Then I loctite the 1 screw. After that dries, I loctite the last screw with the shaft removed.
