Anyone know of a good place to get these rings? Cabela's only has "low". Prophet River has the extra-lows, but they're more expensive than Cabela's to start with, and another $15 for shipping.

We could sell them for $5.00 less too if we chose to only carry a few of the most common ones. Also, currently there is a no tax sale on and you can get free shipping too if the total order is 200.00 or more.

Hmm, may have to check your ammo prices...Wait, free shipping only good for Canada Post. Too bad. Ah well, will probably end up picking up the rings at some point anyway.

Also, are you guys lapping your talleys? I have a precision shaft in 1" and 30mm that I use instead of lapping. I loctite the rear base making sure the bases seem centred on the screws, after the loctite dries, I clamp the shaft on the rear ring and start both screws in the front ring. Then I clamp the shaft into both rings so I can access 1 screw on the front ring. Then I loctite the 1 screw. After that dries, I loctite the last screw with the shaft removed.

I lap them.
