Hello all,

I have found target ammunition, (pmc, American eagle) but would like to buy some heavy (200gr+), underwood or buffalo bore, in hard cast, Sig Sauer flat point jacketed, Nosler Flat point jacketed in fmj.

Availability seems to be fleeting these days.

I will eventually roll my own 10mm (already do for 9mm) but want reliable factory loads to start with.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
C.

I have found the same ammo ( AE) as you. Never seen anything more exotic. Since 10mm full load ammo is best suited for handgun hunting or defensive purposes and the caliber is not the most popular in Canada, although that seems to be changing, I doubt many LGSs will carry the more high powered exotic stuff for budgetary reasons alone. Rolling your own is probably the best option.

Been shooting 10mm for decades, good luck on your search. Havent seen any decent factory at a good price in ages.

best option is loading your own, as 40sw components aren't that expensive, all you need is the brass.

PM me when you start loading it, or need advice. Got a lot of pet loads that you would like

1000 rounds will cost you approx $220 minus brass costs

I have lots of titegroup and Hs6, looking into 800x as I will be single stage loading this caliber and weighing every charge...

10mm brings back a lot of memories. Had a S&W 1006 that ran around 20000 rds without a single breakage It was probably best pistol I ever owned. Had a Colt Delta Elite which was a joke and real disappointment replaced extractor, slide stop front sight twice back strap was plastic so was Trigger therecoil spring guide rod was also plastic. But it shot strait I usually loaded 180 grain lead at 1000 fps. Brass I ran till lettering on case head faded. Colt I got rid of through a store in Calgary and a friend I later made was the guy who bought it he too had problems with it but the S&W 1006 was a real champ and the 20000 rds is not an exaggeration
