We have property in 47 and the deer herd was hit real hard. Last year my best day for deer sightings at my stand was 112 animals and this year the best has been 12. Not very scientific but I have seen little in the way of tracks and trails in the snow and my neighbours have said the same thing.

I was working in the Kipling/Kennedy area this fall, late sept into nov and saw a few deer around. Not many tho. Did see more moose than deer. Not being from Sask, I have no idea what hunting area's are there.

That didn't take long. I didn't quite believe myself of where the picture was taken that I posted. So I posted it here knowing someone would come along with an answer.

Oh, and the deer population in the southeast is in very bad shape. I didn't buy a tag this year. More elk and moose than whitetail deer.
