The SAPRL will be holding its first match at the Taber Shooting Foundation on June 3, 2017.

This match will go beyond what has occurred in the past and will offer a unique challenge to those who have attended PRS matches in Alberta in 2016.

Initial COF will range from 100M-600M with uneven distance targets, ~80 round minimum, 9 stages, and a whole host of obstacles and targets that have not been seen in Canada west of Ontario.

We are hoping that we will be able to accomodate approximately 40 competitors in this first go around.

The long-term goal we are hoping to accomplish is a sanctioned one day PRS points race event to be held later in the year (fingers crossed).

A big thanks goes out to the Taber Shooting Foundation for allowing us to host our event at their amazing facility.

Further thanks are owed to: slim78, Shawn_338, and Spyderfire1 who have been instrumental in getting this off the ground.

Additional details will follow.

Looking forward to making this a fun and challenging match for everyone who wishes to join us.

Taber Shooting Foundation has a fantastic facility for anyone who is looking for a range to become a member at as well.

Sweet I can't wait for the spring shooting season. Thanks for getting this organized guys and I hope I can make it out.

Spectators are allowed which is great but it would be even better if you got involved right?

The COF is challenging but not impossible for new comers and think it would be a great time - the more the merrier.

Also, there is a great campground that is only about 5 minutes away and the Taber Motocross track is right there. You could make one heck of a weekend out of the trek down there.

Big thanks to the taber range for allowing us to use their facility. This is gonna be a great time guys really looking forward to getting this sport off the ground in Canada!!!

Thanks guys. Your efforts are appreciated!
Look forward to a summer of practicing and shooting matches without the distractions of building a new home.

tagged and interested. Not a fan of spectators though.

Why no fan of the spectators? Normally they can be convinced to be spectators behind a spotting scope!

We will of course be posting more details as things get farther along but I do anticipate this to be a much higher level event than either of the ones that were hosted at Milo in 2016.
