Tempted the join them, if I had the money I woulda been all over the combo, mostly for the AK74...
Sold out much quicker then I expected haha, I thought it would make it to Christmas! Good for you guys.
 
I bought 1 combo..... thinking to sell the AK.... depends of the price !

At what price do you think i'm able to sell it ?!

Nope , the barrel is welded up , bolt is welded shut and the trigger parts are welded together, there will be no serviceable parts on the rifle except the wood, not like the the older dewats . Im guessing dewat rules have changed because of those Aks floating around a few years ago that could be turned into a fully working rifle by just changing the barrel

Broke down and bought a combo myself. Want this AK wall hangerbig time
 
That's the way I look at it. I guess it's pretty easy - if you don't like the deal, don't buy anything. I'm in the market for 7.62 x 39. Now that I see what people were willing to pay for the '74, I'd have bought the package and sold everything save for the ammo, and could probably come close to making my money back and then getting the 7.62 for almost free.

If you want something more fun then a Wall hanger. the Real Sword line of Ak's is know to be very realistic/metal/wood etc & even torture test videos show this airsoft buried/run over etc. & still fires.. full & semi..6MM BB's.. & fully legal. Tons of Fun. Retail Approx $500. Very High Quality.

For a second I forgot I had moved to America and thought "Hey, that is a good idea."...... Then I realized I could buy a real one for 50 dollars more.
 
Congrats to those who got the deal,

And for the people that are going to sell stuff off to recoup costs, good idea.

I still would rather have a real functioning rifle though....

I was told by a friend who happens to be a verifier / industry professional that he would expect to pay 500-600 dollars to dewat a rifle like the AK-74. Due to the fact that the new rules require much more work and expertise to do it properly without mangling the appearance.
