Spanish made (sterling?) Ducks unlimited 12g over under

Post some pictures and details....never even heard of it before? How do you expect to get a value without good info or pictures? The number of people that come on here looking for a gun's value but offer no information whatsoever never ceases to amaze me?!! f:P:2:

It's difficult to offer a value without seeing the gun. It's impossible without more details or pictures.

Broadly speaking the American Arms Sterling o/u was made in Spain by Zabala Hermanos, a lower-end maker. Unfired, NIB with all the paperwork etc. the upper limit for one would be $600 and rapidly decreasing based on condition. Being a DU gun doesn't bring a premium.

This gun is obviously worth at least $10,000! On a side note I am thinking about posting a shotgun on the e/e. It is brown wood with blued barrels - any thoughts on value?

Sure, start a promotional thread first!

To the OP, his $400.00 asking price is as high as I would want to go unless it turned out to be something much better than what everyone is thinking about. You have to decide what you want to pay but in today's world $400.00 doesn't usually get you much of an over/under.

Sorry there are no pictures. I haven't even seen it myself. Was just offered up in conversation yesterday and i have no idea what it is... and Google hasn't been helpful either in my queries.

Thank you for the info!

Pretty easy these days to ask for a quick text photo especially when asking to help in valuation Kinda wierd!

I am amazed at how unfriendly the firearms community is... there are a majority of a$$holes that want to look cool by posting negative $hit.

Hey prick boys, I'm not looking for an exact God damn quote in value!... if I was, pictures wouldn't mean SFA. And if you've never heard of it, then I REALLY don't need you chiming in anyway!

Just wondering if anyone was familiar with the type, and had an idea what they go for... is that really so bad?

Some older gent offers it to me at work in barter, am I supposed to act like a knob (one of you) and ask for a bunch of pictures and ask if it is good, or good+, how many rounds fired?

What is the matter with you kids these days? No fvcking respect.

Part of the cynical nature comes from this forum mostly being used by people looking to sell guns on ee and not knowing there value. If you look down the page there's like 3 or 4 threads about shotguns, and their uses and most the rest are "what's my shotgun worth? I'm gonna post it in the ee after you tell me" threads.

Not saying the cynicism is warranted or necessary but it's there for a reason.

As to your gun. If somebody was looking to trade me payment for work/services rendered with a shotgun you bet I'd want pics and details so I could judge what I'm being paid and make sure I'm. Not being ripped off. Quickest way to get screwed horse trading is to shake before you know what you're getting.

I guess I can relate, if you are a big shotgun guy and want your special threads to be kept clear of people curious about the value of what they are getting or selling. Maybe there should be a separate set of threads for value seekers? I dont know... But this site is tainted by D bags. Makes the firearms community look like sniveling brats.

Anyway, I didn't shake on anything. He asked if I liked guns... i said yes, but the only think I'm after is a hunting shotgun. He has this thing. I would obviously see the thing and check it's lock up before taking it.

Cheers

Well then you answered your own question it's worth whatever you expect to be paid for your services. Good luck.

People on here aren't d bags. We see the same questions asked daily. 80% of the threads started here are by people who know nothing about shotguns but expect an answer to their value questions. As has been said you cannot value a gun with out a proper description and pictures. Could be worth 50 bucks... Could be worth $1000 we don't know without seeing it.

Nothing to do with the firearms community. Your kinda dumazz posts show up all over the internet. I have seen guns advertised on this site hundreds of times with no pics and I am sure you have too and what is the first thing you do ASK FOR PICS cry me a river ffs
