With a screen name like "FOXYTRAPPER" id assume your a trapper and kill cute littly furry foxes. Shame

Funny how some of the Saints on here would have no issue killing 100 gophers, but shoot on starling and you are crucified by them!
You don't even need a Hunting Lic to kill sparrows or starlings, you are encouraged to do so in BC.

Legal game animal, a phucking bird, you are mental. I am a trapper, I kill critters every day. Today I killed 5 yotes and 1 fox, but guess what, I also filled the bird feeder. If for a half a second you think you are some kind of a hero, you need help.

Bird feeder eh?, hmm i should go get one i think. call it a "bait box" if you will. Considering these things are non native and introduced to BC and are creating havoc by taking over nesting sites (in some cases even killing off other birds to take their nests over) I have no problem killing them. They are pests just like yotes.

Look, if you're going to kill animals, then you have no say over which animals are killed and which are not by other hunters. I kill ducks and I eat them. I kill yotes and I don't eat them. As long as the game is legal to kill, and legally killed. If you're going to be one of those "I kill select animals, but shame on you for killing a bird", then you're a hypocrite, right up there with the millions of people who say how cruel hunting is while chomping down on a hamburger. I do value the trap as the best means of preserving the pelt, but I'd hate to have to compare how long the bird suffered versus a trapped fox, if we get into the "who's holier than who" discussion. I won't kill anything I don't plan to eat, unless it's a pest (yote), and it seems in BC sparrows are pests, so I have no problem.
Personally, I think taking a sparrow-sized bird with a bolt at any distance would have been a challenging shot.

Some people have nothing better to do then beat the drum of superiority in the relm of vast internet knowledge and criticize others. It's a bird. If anyone wants to replace it there are a few hundred in my neighborhood. Come and get them before I shoot them myself.
haha no kidding...I found it funny that a trapper was criticizing a bow hunter for hitting a target that small at 20 feet!!!

Bird feeders are great places to "bait for birds", however I use a pellet gun. Not as challenging, but still a fine sport.
