Ya i called him bright and early Monday morning and paid for my order.He was in the process of getting ready to call everyone.Id just call him and save yourself the wait.Awesome service btw.Will be a returning customer for sure.
 
This unit looks better then at the shot show. The upper appears to be aluminum and not synthetic so I have great hopes fot it. I will be for sure doing a review of the stock, installation ease, and of course range report. A little cold weather does not put me off shooting unless the wind is howling. My new mags even showed up for my mini for i have 6 mags locked and loaded with new scope mounted. Man I am looking forward to getting her together.
 
Awesome thanks. That sounds promising. Its nice that they used aluminum. I thought it was all synthetic. Can't wait to hear more.
 
I'm sure looking forward to buying a mini-14.. I think they look fantastic in the stock they come from Ruger in - I also very much like the looks of this new Sparta...

Well I have a digital scale and camera so if noone beats me to it I will do a breif write up adn then a second part on installation. I must admit HICAL's posting of a complete video adn calling all teh customers right away speaks to great customer service.
 
I might have to buy a mini-14 now. I've always hated them. I didnt like the look of them at all in there stock form. Plus there are many stories of less than desirable accuracy. But with the more ergonomic stock, it looks like it might be fun to plink with and jusst have fun.

Agreed... I owned one back in the day, and didn't like it at all. With this stock, though, I might actually consider getting another one. Waaaay better looking :)
 
Got a phone call from Hical this morning. Stock is on it's way! Great guys to deal with.
For those of you who weren't on the original pre-order list apparently they are getting another shipment in in a couple of weeks. :runaway::D:runaway:
