Any updates/pics? :D

We are currently waiting for tools to do the upper and carrier.

We have the first operation on the lower done and are working on fixtures to to the next steps. We should have more pics and updates later this week.

Insert a cleaning rod from the muzzle, and then attach the brush or patch and then pull it though. Or use a bore snake.

Awful imo. Makes cleaning a PITA.

Maybe drill out the blind hole where the buffer tube threads in and drill out the buffer tube and run a rod in that way?

Reminds me of cleaning my 1022, which hardly gets cleaned cause it's a PITA.

That's unfortunate, that's a deal breaker/fatal flaw for me, unless a workaround/cleaning port is developed. Crown damage is very tough to avoid if forced to clean from the muzzle. More power though to those that are ok with it, and thanks for offering the option.

Looks like a decent design. Make sure you test it with Magpul Gen 3 magazines. They have the over insertion lip on them that can prevent them from being inserted in some mag wells. I only mention this because they are probably the most popular AR15 magazine, and it will lead to a lot of negative criticism if they do not fit.

It looks like the magwell is shorter than a standard AR lower. The P-mag should fit, but the over-insertion lip wouldn't touch the bottom of the magwell. That's how I see it anyways.
