Spectre LTD. Spec 180 Lower Info and Ongoing Feedback for WK, MCR, AR180

This lower with a steel upper where do we place an order ? I am looking but cannot find any of this and Instagram really ? you people are lucky I do facebook sheesh :)

The steel upper can be bought from True North Arms. They should have the other components required for a WK build as well.

This lower solves a problem that doesn't exist. Although it looks great, I doubt many will drop 3 bills just to change up the aesthetics slightly on their 180/MCR. Also, I don't know a single person who has built a 180 from scratch as it doesn't make sense price wise. Also, what's with the cringy white out lettering on the side?

Wrong.

That’s where you’re wrong kiddo, I just bought one solely to use my favourite grip the K2+. A bonus would be if I can use a typical safety selector, which it looks like it does. At ~$300 shipped, this is priced well.

How'd you buy one when they out of stock? Thanks

Totally agree! 300 clams shipped is a good price to get a chance a fun new project. PS. Im currently building my 2nd 180 type rifle out of parts and stuff I have squirrels away off the EE over the 2 years. I enjoy the build, and always push my projects outside the box.

Does anyone know the difference between the Spectre Ltd. ca lower and the Lynx lower from Spectreballistics .com ???

Never knew Spectre Ballistics was doing a lower. Great to see a bunch of companies getting on board with the platform but for crying out loud would somebody do one without the same back asswards magwell angle.

I posted a separate thread for the SBI Lynx lower, but off hand the LTD takes beavertail AR grips (edit: though the part of the receiver behind the pistol grip is curved ergonomically to remove the need for one), while the Lynx does not, but the Lynx has a modular stock attachment section, which can be swapped with an upcoming Picatinny adapter for MCX stocks , for example. The appearance differs, as well. Edit: The Lynx also uses standard size AR trigger pins.

I'd prefer a different magwell angle as well, but even as it sits I'd be tempted to try another 180. with everything coming out from Spectre and TNA one could build a pretty damn decent 180.

True North just came out with 1 piece steel uppers for the WK, FYI. and from what they posted in their thread a few days ago, it sounds like uppers that aren't cut for left side charging handles could be coming out soon.

damn!!!!!
