I’m not sure they will unless Wolverine decides to make these lowers the new standard for the MCR. I can’t see why they won’t, it’s proving to be a popular upgrade

I'm guessing that's what will happen after all of the current lowers have been sold off on complete rifles. WS don't want to be sitting on a stockpile of their "old" lowers.

Hey fellas, had time with my new spec180 lower, and just a heads up regarding the magazine release area on the receiver.
I tried installing a Timber Creek Outdoors extended mag release, wasn’t able to depress the mag button down due to the material that is built up in front of the button (little hump).
I just dremelled away some material on the receiver so the mag release would fully depress etc

As someone who is interested in this new lower, what tools would be required to swap the original out for this?

Northern. Pretty sure a punch set, allen keys, and an AR wrench for the buffer tube is all you would need. If you have ever assembled an AR lower it would take you probably 15 min. If not maybe a half hour.
