If you even had an inkling about ammunition and firearms, you would know a very light bullet would carry no distance whatsoever. Kinda like throwing a piece of Styrofoam.

But you don't really know much about ammunition, do you?

Do you remember the Second Chance ThunderZap?? A polymer hollowpoint that weighed (IIRC) about 40 grains in a .38 Special case. It would do an honest 2200 fps out of a 2" S&W M60 :eek:. I had a dozen or so rounds and they would blow a hole in a side of beef 4-6" in dia at about 12' and teh bullet would turn into plastic dust, basically; but at 100' you could (allegedly at least) catch them in your hand. The ones that I had were consistent and fairly accurate.

Yes, shooting polymer bullets that weigh about 30 grains wouldn't hurt you at all.

These would be nice for an Air Marshal wouldn't they Joe?
