Can-Am, if you are referring to the commercial one near the Lac LeJuene exit, I went looking for that one in the summer of 2003. It was 'gone' then, replaced by some sort of archery facility ( club or what ?) Nearest S.C. shoots are at the Kamloops Trap Club.
Hi
well other then Vancouver gun club their is no other sporting clays other then going to the Vancouver island or to Alberta.
Mission had one now its closed and their getting a 5 stand. so mission will only have 5 stand.
At the Vancouver Gun Club their always looking for extra help to get the place ready for Sundays.
And with the 5 stand cumming along their is be more different tips of shootings.
With the 5 stand and sporting clays will be open doring the weekend shooters can change it up as one weekend dooing sporting the other 5 stand or do both.
Hi LFM,
Just like NZClaybuster said why don't you help with the setup of the course?
I know they would welcome any help offered. Be part of the solution. Get
active within your club.
I believe a 5 Stand is also in works for Vancouver Gun Club to open some time
late March or April.

VGC doesn't really encourage the younger generation to do anything at the club but pay for your clays, shut up, shoot then go home...repeat. (with exception of a few incredible members that is) It's not so much the course that is the problem. I was just looking for a change in scenery and to try different environments that could facilitate different targets. Landscape has a lot to do with how the course it set up. VGC is limited with its terrain. I'm not knocking the people who set up the course. I always have a great time and I do greatly appreciate the efforts put in by the course prep guys. Also can't beat the fact it's 20 minutes from my house. I will def look into Kamloops course this spring/summer. Thanks for the info.
