This is not very encouraging what your describing and I hope I don't end up having regrets buying 8 of them to stash away for safe keeping. I have 4 showing up in the next couple hours and another 4 showing up in a day or two.

The description and picture on the web page made them out to be in pretty good condition.

This is a Polish 22LR TT-33. They use inserts in the shape of 7.62x25 ammunition (22LR goes inside of it). They have 22LR barrel. It will come with one magazine and 8 inserts but extras will be available in the future. They are in nice condition with minor holster wear and the odd mark. These are very rare and only 3500 were produced.

One is not near as bad as the other but I have not taken them apart yet, dirty but that's not a big deal will get pics taken later to day! I bought them mostly for the peculiarity of them but also hope to shoot the crazy things!
The pics that jjort posted looked pretty good so maybe the one I got was a one of!
 
Got my 2 today.
I was under the impression that these were in better condition.
Lots of scratches and overall not as nice as I hoped.
Oh well what did I expect for a 99.00 gun
Probably going to trade them off for something nicer.

Have you checked the sfrc site he may have a few left! Showing out right now but you can put your name in if he finds a few more! Mine do not look as nice as that picture though, just so you know! But they are a cool interesting gun!
 
I'm thinking about re-bluing mine myself using Birchwood Casey's Perma blue or Oxpho-Blue. Possibly mybe even investing in my own setup for hot bluing.

Mine showed up and they are definitely not as nice as described or pictured on the web page. One even has very light rust spots forming on the outside of the barrel and it's very early starting on the slide and frame in the bluing.

ya, mine's pretty rough as well, a few dings in it and most of the parts where there is some contact have worn off the bluing.
If it was a listing on the EE it would probably be considered 'good' maybe dipping into fair condition.
It's definitely my roughest looking gun -- but it was a training firearm and $99 so meh.
 
Mines very well used, lots of holster wear. It's completely dry, no oil or Cosmo. All matching numbers except for the magazine witch has 6 digit serial and appears to be Chinese. Mag and mag well have light rusting spots as well. I am still happy I got one and especially for the $99 dollar price. Only thing I'm uncertain about Is the recoil spring looks to be cut short and when pistol is fully assembled it feels loose inside. Off to run it through a Hoppes 9 bath and some oil after. pretty happy with mine... yeah some light scratches but i was impressed with the overall good condition of the gun
the inserts seem to cycle freely (at least without .22lr inside them) except one
gun is tight and pretty much rust free
the finish is equal if not better than my 1911 norinco

My last 4 of 8 I ordered showed up and they are in very good condition compared to the first 4 I received. I think I will still refinish a couple that are scratched or lots of bluing worn off.
 
I got mine tonight and it's almost perfect for a 1956! Definitely not issued and not sure it been fired other than testing. Inserts will take some fitting though. Awesome deal for 100$ that's for sure!

I chucked my inserts in a drill and used 120 grit paper to take them down to size and some burgundy scotch brite to polish them up.
The worst parts seem to be the first quarter inch of the insert, then the quarter inch behind the bottle neck.

I did exactly the same last night. Worked great for me as well.
 
I fired mine today and it shoots great! Biggest problem is finding all the inserts again. I was constantly looking over my shoulder to spot them at roughly 5:00 position. Surprisingly accurate too.
Another problem I had was the inserts not seating in the chamber all the way again once they get dirty. I'm going to sand/polish them some more and give it another go. Would be a damn nice pistol if a proper .22 feeding system could be cooked up to eliminate those damn inserts.
