250 gr spitzers at 3200+ fps are going to shoot very flat and hit like a hurricane!

Ted

Ted, I am starting with 225 Accubonds, I made up 40 ladder testing loads with W760 and RL-17... will see how they do. Our ranges are all CC'd (Corona Closed), so I will have to go to my old bush range, 200 yards max... that will do for now... when the ranges open again, I will take it out to 500 yards.

It is a custom Winchester Model 70 built by Mark Penrod. He has made several modifications to the existing action (bolt handle, tang, trigger, bolt stop, bottom metal, extractor etc). The stock is an Echols pattern McMillan and Bill Leeper has recently rebarreled it to a 30-06.
