Spring Bear Hunt In Ontario

IIRC, I thought I saw something recently where the OFAH is working on allowing Party Hunting (for deer and moose hunters) during the fall for bear.

And yes the provincial government is consistent in its intent to make the north one big playgroud. The sh*tty part is that, well...there's not too many of us up here. No votes = No say in things. Don't ya just love it?

They should re-open it. The cops in my town (London, Ontario) just shot and killed a bear a week or so ago. Probably would not have happened it you could still be hunting them in the spring.

The Conservatives, Mike Harris, Chris Hodgdon & the various members from around the GTA/Hamilton/Niagara region knuckled under to political pressure from Robert Schad/ The Huisky Injection Molding/The Schad Foundation because they threatened to pull both their financial & political support. In retrospect, it wouldn't have mattered a damn anyway, as the wankers down south elected the Liberal Mc.whatshisname anyway- the guy who's now going to gouge us on the HST. All of Ontario above Highway 7 could be Conservative blue and there still wouldn't be enough of a majority to dump the "Lieberals".
