I'm taking my Reflex Highlander bow, 62 lbs draw weight, pushing 310 gr carbonfiber arrows at 265 fps, 47 ftlbs ME.... and my hunting partner is bringing a 338 Win mag.

My .50 cal in-line loaded with 90 gr. of T7 and 300 gr. Nosler partition bullets, because nothing says spring bear hunt like the smell of blackpowder(Pyrodex) wafting across the forest.

my 350 rem mag with 200gr hornady interlocks. or my sako 7mm rem mag, can't wait , but there is still tones of snow and it was -26 yesterday morning, march is going to be long.

I've used 25-06 on a few 308 280 7x57 and 7 mag. For blacks any good deer gun will work, my rangeshave been 20 to300yd & not over bait. Over bait less is more. Just my .02 AJ

Now you got me thinking.. mabey I should use mine too, I have never taken any game with it. I think my Accubonds are going 2560 with 48g of R15.

Any bears I get this year will sort of be "opportunity" kills so they could come from a bunch of firearms from my SKS to my .58 cal muzzle stuffer. I'd kind of prefer getting one with my .58 as prep for my father and son .58 cal moose hunt this fall.
