Springfield M1A Quality

The Fulton guns are also pretty nice, they make arguably a nicer cast M14 than Springfield, but are pricier.

I agree. I'd rather get a Fulton than SAI, LRB etc. I tried but Fulton won't sell outside the US when I wanted to buy one. No sending to FFL exporter or anyone that was buying it to ship outside the US. They did not care if it was to Canada, no exceptions. Tried to go through Creedmore Sports and they told me they honor the Fulton no sales outside the US policy. That was not too long ago so I would be surprised if that policy has changed. Anyway it is too bad.

Fulton now exports. Contact @#### armory, they seem to be the importer.

Fulton can also be customized with a 18.5 inch barrel which is perfect for us, but yes tgey are super expensive.

I'll stick with my intention to get a standard 22inch. Appreciate all the feedback. With all the problems being mentioned With the Norc m305s I figured something from S.A. is a better choice.

An out of the box m1a standard is under $2000 and is scads better than a stock norinco.

That said, both rifles can be made much better with a few sensible accuracy mods.

Nice rifle, though if it were mine, I'd have the ring mounting bolts facing leftward - sometimes ejected brass can hit the nuts and bounce a empties back into the chamber.
