SRV2 Siberian Reviews

so after sitting on the sidelines thru the entire "Ar180" rebirth from various entities under various names..... we still have canadian companies manufacturing products and releasing them to the public far sooner than they should be. Once again the consumer is used as a beta tester so the manufacturers can that service for free.... no.... at a profit. LOL
I'm not here to trash on any of these "ar180 concept" firearms manufacturers in particular but the fact that there is gen 1 , gen 2, gen 3..... of pretty much every version and the fact that these "gens" are necessary due to failures revealed by consumers during what is considered regular use...... pretty sad if you ask me.

I'm gonna spend my money on other things and avoid all these ar180 concept firearms altogether.
Thankyou to all the owners that have been honest with thier experiences

This is how I feel. I abandoned the whole 180 platform idea. I spend my money on reliable imports.

Spring slides over the shoulder easily,so maybe that’s an issue?
Pin is bent, so it took a good smack

To be honest, a day before it broke, you were asking people if they already had the new firing pin installed, then you took it out shooting. I am not saying you had it coming but there was a good chance of it happening.

Do you work for BCL?
How do you know when it broke?

Nothing wrong about 180 platform. It's our Canadian implementation that is the problem. BTW, it seems WK181 is a step forward from WK180 Gen 2, so eventually they will get to the reliability point. It's just be a tester and pay for this is not for everyone.

So has Pfizer. Doesn't mean their shyt is good for you...
I guess so, things happen, I try not let it get under my skin.
Fuc it you know, we’re only going this way once.

My buddy’s bolt handle fell off his rem 700, now that’s a headache.. lol

I don't know why people buy these when you can get a used Benelli MR1 for 1400 to 1600 or a tavor for 1800 to 2000

Or a SL8 on sale, I got mine for 2K and just milled the receiver to use G36 mags. Maybe not cool? And a bit fugly too. But no cleaning needed for 5K rounds got me, I am lazyish.

Tavor for 1,8K, maybe, not sure but I bought a brand new 97 2 years ago for 1K all in, never cleaned, never anything and that boy just does it's job. Not MOA, I have my hunting rifles for that, lol.

But I get the message about the 180 platform, the last man standing. Let's see with BCL, I almost felt the handle will fall off today when my partner rattled it, she hates bolt actions. But accurate, MOA at 50 and 2 inches at 100 yards. Maybe better with patience. Trigger is like 10 pounds. Like an on off button.

You can try not to let it get under your skin, but the BCG literally blows apart, and is quite literally going to embed under your skin...
Actually the Bolt Carrier was contained nicely. It was the crap that blew out the mag well, that was messy.

anyone who thinks exploding bolt carriers and bent firing pins are acceptable from a newly released firearm sure have some low standards.

if you own any of these 180 based, "canadian made" firearms , do you sleep well knowing you are being used as a beta testing guinea pig? And to top it off you are paying for that privledge LOL
from pre-orders to customer beta testing...... Canadian firearm manufacturers should be ashamed of themselves.

People act like this is the first time a gun or ammo company has had problems or recalls. The firing pin on the Siberian, the piston on some of the early WK's are small potatoes. Nobody has been hurt by one of the 180's to my knowledge. Unlike some products from major, established companies that have seriously injured or even killed people.

I will seriously consider a Siberian when they adopt a Gen 2 with a folding Charging Handle. Until then, I wish them well with continued sales and growth. The Firing Pin rework is a glitch in the road, that is all. Nobody got hurt so no harm, no foul, as they say...
