Stag 10 .308 vs Robinson Armement ACR-M

Cabela's Barrie had one in stock
https://www.cabelas.ca/product/69872/robinson-armament-xcr-m-semi-auto-rifle

And one other shop in Barrie
https://topguntacticalsales.com/product/robinson-armament-xcr-m-308-win-18-6-hb-key-mod-odg/

I held the one they had at Cabela's which was the "LB" and was as light as the Stag if not the same and was better balanced due to the "LB", that being said I bought the Stag 10. For many reasons, price, parts availability/upgrades,warranty,

The other thing I didn't like was every dealer has the "key mod" version and no "mlok". No biggie for some.

Looking for stag in stock. Found a xcr in stock at gotenda

Excellent! Go Tenda. There pretty good with bringing in firearms, everyone I mentioned to them in the last 6 months they brought in to the store.

Yes, and am considering buying an XCR-L for the folding stock and side charging handle alone ;)
The AR design is a masterpiece but I love folding stocks and Eugene Stoner put the charging handle in the wrong spot.
(The original AR10 charging lever in the carrying handleis super cool!!!)

There were reasons it was changed...not go mention how hard it makes mounting optics!!!

Have an XCR-M - haven't had it for long, but really nice to shoot. Its a very used gun but very reliable through the first couple boxes. I like how the weight is distributed, low recoil makes it nice to shoot even without having a muzzle brake.

My complaint with that gun is definitely the stock, and will probably try to machine an adapter for the ACR stock eventually.
its a nice out-of-the-box gun.

Not sure where people are having accuracy issues with the XCR-M, had mine for a couple years now, 20" heavy barrel .308. First fed it norinco .308 to break it in, was accurate through the 500 surplus I put through it. After that, its been fed custom handloads since. Its very comfortable to shoot, low recoil on it, even before changing the muzzle break on it.
