I almost grabbed one of those V7 handguards but the sticker shock got me first. Ordered a diamonhead vrs and a Jp enterprise tube to see what i like bettter. I think for hunting the JP will be the one I end up going with

I'm a real handy guy so will remedy any squeaks in short order LOL
Am making a carbon fiber/aramid forend right now and playing with a few different barrel nuts brainstorming the tube/nut union. I actually started this project back before the MH came out when rick was looking around for canadian handguard options but other things came up. This is just a personal project now that i have a stag-10 hehe the prices for what is out there in carbon fiber make it much more attractive for me to just make my own LOL

I see in this pic you went back to the smaller Hogue grip. I assume you have big hands so why the switch from the last build pics? I like them both but have switched all mine to the larger grips as they just seem to feel better over the last few years.

That's the factory grip that has been on it from day one.

It's a McGowen barrel ordered from Mystic Precision. From the day I ordered to the day it got here was 2 months and 3 weeks. McGowen just reduced their lead time from 10 weeks to 8 weeks. Total cost was $1462.65 for two barrels.

Here's my finished build, went as light and short as I could without getting nuts. Still working on the best factory load, but it shoots super soft with the titanium BCG, adjustable GB and that single port brake... you'd almost think it's a 5.56.
