This is was the result of my first BSF barrel. It made it exactly 1 round. All damaged parts have been replaced except for the proper barrel nut.
Yikes, how cut were you from the flying Carbon Bits? At least the rifling looks decent.
So that’s 375 Raptor barrel I ordered 3.5 months ago? The guy forgot about it. 
Now he wants me to round up a barrel extension for it. Basically made it sound like he was waiting on me even though his quote said it was included. I hope so for an $850 barrel.

Sounds like you might want to take your business elsewhere. With people like that you never just have one issue.

I agree, I shouldn't have given him a big deposit. I had a barrel make by Bob Jury in one month and he only wanted a $100 deposit.
The barrel nut is the hard thing to find (armalite thread for BCL-102). They don't even seem common in the states, so unless someone around here decided to go free float instead and have the parts laying around I'm SOL. Would be fun to see how it would turn out. Either way I have a faxon pencil barrel coming soon, should have it on the rifle in a week or so.
Well light barrel is on, wow it makes a big difference in the handling!

I’ve waited almost 3 months for my barrel and I’m loosing my patience. No fault of the supplier - I’m just an impulse kind of guy so this has been exceptionally difficult time in my life.
I’ll post pics when it comes - I have a feeling it will be a noteworthy looking barrel.
That was going to be my next build. I have all the components. Stag A2 and Colt handguard. I’m still waiting for Calgary Shooting Centre to pin my FSB.

I built another Stag last night, this is going to be my truck/tractor gun. I wanted to try out some new parts and put more time behind the Magpul Bipod. I'm probably going to spray this with Krylon.

How do you like the MI rail?! I am wanting an 18" one on mine.
I like it, it feels good holding it offhand. The only thing I can nit pick is the barrel nut is exposed.
Most likely milspec, there are only milspec receiver extensions on their website.
